Hey Bull City! It’s Election Day so go out and vote! Once you’re done doing your civic duty, head over to Triangle Village Shopping Center at 2105 NC-54, Durham, NC 27713. Triangle Village is filled with minority owned businesses who are either beginning their businesses and/or continuing to thrive in their community. These businesses are passionate about giving back to their community and making lifelong memories for you and your family.  

Triangle Village was a hidden gem for me, and I am excited to share with you all they have to offer. Below I have listed each local business and if you see 🗣, I got to speak with the owner and employees or try their incrediBULL food.

Carmedix

Starting out of his garage, Jay’s experience in the automotive industry and reputation evolved into opening Carmedix in the Triangle Village in 2015. Finding this physical location resulted in his loyal customers traveling 40 minutes to get to him. Not only has he retained 70% of his customers, Jay and his team continue to grow and serve the community here in Durham.

Chosun Ok BBQ

Chosun Ok BBQ is a Korean Restaurant that is known for its modern interpretation of classic dishes and fresh ingredients. With built in grills at your table, made in house dumplings, and a variety of different kimchi, your dine experience will exceed your expectations. Kendrick’s Kave Barbershop is a Black Owned Business who is about to celebrate 1 Year of being open. Kendrick has created a safe and welcoming environment, reminding his customers to continue to grind, hustle, and execution. These core values have opened up opportunities for Kendrick to serve his community through their first annual Backpack Give Away where he and his team offered free haircuts and free school supplies to tons of children of the community.
