Z-Koretizing Cleaners/ Zanobia Sewing and Alterations
Z-Koretizing Cleaners is a family-owned local dry cleaner using all-natural products. They also offer alterations services under Zanobia Sewing and Alterations. The cleaners have been a Durham staple since 1970. In 2020 Farheen and her husband bought the company.
Farheen has an incrediBULL story. She and her family left their home in Pakistan, where she was a BULLoved OBGYN to come to the U.S. as asylum seekers. They landed and fell in love with Durham.
Z-Koretizing offers organic, dry cleaning using all-natural products. They offer you a reusable dry cleaning bag for pick-up to keep for future drops, eliminating the hassle of the plastic covers that normally come with dry cleaning.
Inside the cleaners, Farheen has a small, sewing studio called Zanobia Sewing and Alterations, named after her daughter. Zanobia alterations have custom services for all your tailor needs from the initial consultations, and custom care for your garments, to your very own sewing classes taught by the talented Faheem herself.
Farheen also expresses her love of sewing and her expertise in s small handmade selection of clothing. Using Organic, Indian cotton and textiles from her home country in Pakistan. Z-Koretizing and Zanobia are located at 2716 Hillsboro Rd. just slightly off 9th Street up the way from Cocoa Cinnamon and Smitten.
Hours of operations are open Monday- Friday, 8 am-6 pm
Saturday 8 am-2 pm.
